Large Stock exchange 

CHALLENGE

The client already has two running instances of Salesforce and wants to merge them into one. The request for change by the client involves a data migration from Oracle CRM. Therefore all data from Oracle CRM shall be migrated into Salesforce, UI from Oracle CRM shall be mirrored into Salesforce and users shall be taught to continue the work in Salesforce.

SOLUTION 

Business analysis has been performed and created functional diagrams for two divisions by the client, to get a clear picture of how to join two Salesforce instances. Also, object mapping was done, and after that data was uploaded from one instance into another. In transitioning ORACLE CRM data, processes, and users to work on Salesforce, QSoftLabs engaged BAs, Salesforce Developers, and QA’s.

CONCLUSION 

Salesforce merged instances were up and running, and all data were kept and all migrated data from Oracle CRM were imported successfully into Salesforce, while all Oracle user accounts were moved to continue the work in Salesforce.
